After graduating with a joint degree from a French and German business school , Mathilde Royer Germain became part of the Airbus family in 1992.
She started with a 10 years’ experience at former DaimlerChrysler Aerospace AG in Germany, followed by 4 years within the Defence division in Paris, where she held positions in International Business Development, Marketing & Key Account Management.

 She joined the Helicopters division in 2006, first leading the Strategic Analysis department before taking over the position of Corporate Secretary a year later, managing the CEO’s Office, general counsel, corporate security and institutional relations in France, Germany and the EU.  Between 2012 and 2017 she was Head of the Light Helicopters Programme with P&L responsibility for the “Colibri” and “Ecureuil” families (a total fleet of more than 5000 helicopters).

Since 1st July 2017 she is the Senior Vice President of Earth observation, Navigation and Science within the Space Systems Programme Line, whose diverse activities are spread over 5 countries: France, Germany, Spain, the UK and Italy.
