I am joining the Lockheed Martin as the Director for International Business Development for Space Systems Company.  I will lead a global team that works with defence, civil and commercial space customers. I will be focussed on Lockheed Martin’s strategy to grow its UK and global space business, this is a truly exciting opportunity to use the unique knowledge and capability of Lockheed Martin to grow new business areas around the world and to be a part of the UK space growth ambition.

I am an experienced and trusted space industry senior executive and expert, with a unique insight into the UK, European as well as the global space industry.  I am proud to be an engineer with over 30 years experience and keen to show the career opportunities engineering provides for future generations. I have held key roles in the space industry covering leadership, programmes, engineering, technology, quality, operations, AIT, EVT, manufacturing and facilities. Working on satellite missions covering all areas of capability from commercial and military telecommunications, science & exploration, institutional, navigation and earth observation, from the smallest satellites of a few kilograms to the largest GEO and exploration missions.

I was born in East Yorkshire, educated at Bridlington School and Sheffield University (BEng Hons) am married with two grown up children and enjoy countryside walks with our three dogs, clay pigeon shooting, DIY, Land Rover restoration, radio amateur (M6UPW) and electronics.
